Overview

Vitalimins started as a brand new company with no website or online presence. They came to us after recently having been funded, and they needed to establish and build their brand to keep the momentum going.

Research & Planning

Our Objectives

We took on Vitalimins at the inception of its branding identity. We wanted to create an authentic representation of the company and its values through rhetoric and design, and then build their website around this branding core.

DISCOVERY

As we created the brand identity, we tested every aspect of it, from the logo to the company and product names to the URL, with various wellness and alternative health demographics. We looked at competitors and discovered a void in the medical CBD area with a strong online presence, and our firm staked out Vitalimins’s branding in that area.

UX STRATEGY

The Vitalimins site needed to surround the products. We centered the company’s products on the homepage hero and developed a simple, intuitive site as an online shop. Our team further developed an easy and intuitive shopping experience, with clear, concise information, reviews, and call-to-actions to lead to the products and purchases.

DEVELOPMENT

As a site with conversions geared towards product purchases, the breadcrumbs had to lead to the product pages. Along with the navigation bar essentials, we added a cart feature. We also added a wishlist along with emails to remind customers about their carts and cater to their ongoing experience with the brand. Additionally, our firm took on the design, packaging, and compliance of the products. We threaded the brand identity to cohesive packaging and brought the items to life.

From their funding round and after two and a half years of working with us, their company value skyrocketed, currently estimated at $20,000,000. We credit this to a solid and tested brand identity that was then implemented throughout their site, products, and later campaigns.

Due to these marketing and branding efforts, EMRG positioned Vitalimins for the consideration of a national grocery chain to be distributed across the country, illustrating their nonstop capacity for growth stemming from our initial foundation.
